Dumaine Street, French Quarter, New Orleans 2/2

Here are the second batch of images from my self-imposed one-New-Orleans-block photo walk.

These were taken on Thanksgiving, and I have a feeling that other than Christmas you won’t find this part of New Orleans this subdued on any other day. Many shops were closed, as was the cathedral and museum next to it. The cemeteries were only open a few short hours. We walked portions of Bourbon Street that I probably wouldn’t other times during the year. But overall it was low-key with only a few odd either drunk, high or mentally unstable people visible - fewer today than even on a Wednesday (yesterday).

I have more photos of the other things we did and saw in NOLA - but those will come later.
