This Week on Wickham: Episode 1

A month-long stay at Wickham Park. It literally changed our lives. Here’s a taste of what we experienced.

  • Reconnect with the Turtles after a week apart
  • Meet the next-door-next-door neighbors: a blue-haired woman, a meteorology student, a fire-fighter in training, and a traveling actor/pirate
  • Community dinner with the Turtles and the next-door-next-door neighbors
  • Poetry Tuesday with our neighbors
  • Dinner at the Wright’s - a family we met on arrival to the park. They have followed our blog for a while and are planning to leave Melbourne and go out on the road with their young children in a few years.
  • An evening playing at the beach
  • An early morning scrubbed rocket launch
  • An even earlier morning rocket launch!
  • Interview for Ditching Suburbia
  • Farmer’s Market visit
  • Daily walks
  • Ocean Sunrise
  • Everyday business and schooling
