Miranda Boyink

Hey there! I enjoy traveling around the country and seeing new sights, meeting new friends (and getting together with old ones), and experiencing new experiences.

Traveling has definitely changed me. I went from being super shy to enjoying meeting new people and hanging out with friends. I went from disliking sports to feeling a need to play them. I went from wondering where I would sleep that night to anticipating where I would live the next day. Everywhere I go offers up new places, new people, new experiences.

Every person I have met has changed me. Maybe just a little, or maybe a lot. Sometimes we make life-long friends, and sometimes we know that we might only see this person once. But rarely do we ever not make a friend with anyone we meet.

If I was still living in a house on First Avenue, with the same schedule I had when I was twelve, I think I might have gone insane by now. Of course, if I was still living in a house on First Avenue, I would not have known what I had been missing.

Everything I gave up to be out on the road was totally worth it. I would never go back and change it.

I am a passionate traveler, and from the time I was a child, travel formed me as much as my formal education. David Rockefeller
