Here’s the worst kind of post - a bullet list of stuff we did just so we can catch the blog up.
But - I guess it beats an out of date blog…
We were in Albuquerque just about exactly 5 years ago. While we don’t normally like to repeat experiences, we do make exceptions.
One exception we made was for Tinker Town, a quirky “Roadside America / Route 66” type attraction filled with miniature circus scenes, antique arcade games, and artwork.
On the way to to Tinker Town we drove the “Musical Highway” - a portion of historic Route 66.
After visiting Tinker Town we drove up Sandia Peak to get a look at the view a mile above the city of Albuquerque.
We also visited the Petroglyph National Monument and did some hiking to see some of the petroglyphs.
Ha ha…bullet list posts are all we do!! But our audience is different…or, I should say, we don’t have an audience other than ourselves!
Ah - we periodically check in on you guys…just to see if you have the truck kinks worked out yet..;)
The southwest is the only part of the country we haven’t explored yet. Your post just made it all the more alluring. Thanks for the update. :)
Awesome -maybe it wasn’t such a bad post after all then…;)
