We left the Olympic Peninsula on a Tuesday. Spent the day in Seattle on Wednesday. Drove a few hours and stayed over night in Vantage, WA on Thursday (I still had to shower in our tiny trailer shower because I didn’t want to pay for a shower at the state park). Stopped in Spokane for a quick RV check and lunch with fellow ExpressionEngine developer Jeff Claeson on Friday afternoon before crossing into Idaho.
Late Friday afternoon, we found a private campground off I-90 that had one site open. We paid for 1 night. When we realized that this park was quiet, had strong wi-fi, a clean laundry, FREE hot showers, a nearby river and a rails-to-trails bike path nearby, we re-upped for 2 more nights.
We really needed this stop. Mike did some client work, I caught up our laundry, we took a family bike ride, I enjoyed long hot showers. When Monday morning came around, we felt recharged and ready to move on down the road.
