We enjoy your blog!
I took my first trip through the UP of Michigan this year in June. I was fortunate since my significant other came from Michigan. I had my own personal guide! What beautiful wilderness. We called this trip “The Great Casino Tour.”
Michigan has some great casinos that allow free overnight parking. No hook ups. Other casinos offer reasonable rates in their own campgrounds with hook ups. Can not wait to go again!!
Beautiful photos guys!
I love the UP and have been to many of the places you photographed! It’s a beautiful place to explore especially if you go away from the “touristy” places.
@Virgina Clark - We did a couple of casinos while traveling through the UP, too. The casino in Munising was especially wonderful - free electric when the temps were in the high 80s and 90s.
@Andrea - thanks for the compliment. Of course, Mike is the one who took the photos, so I guess I’ll let him have the praise. ;)
@Pam - we did a bit of the touristy, but for the most part we just stopped when something caught our eye.
Beautiful photos!
Thanks, De’Etta.
