Looking for a free, cheap, or non-traditional place to park your RV? Here’s a few sources we’ve found over the years.
- Boondockers Welcome
Overnight parking on fellow RVers property. Membership required.
A free resource that focuses on places to camp on public land.
- Harvest Hosts
A network of wineries, farms and agri-tourism sites that invite self-contained RVers to visit and stay overnight for free. Membership required.
Kind of an AirBnB site for hosts with private land available to campers. Primarily for tent campers but has RV filter/sort options. Results largely return known state parks but do include some private farms, etc.
Rustic camping and other out of the way spots - probably more suitable for small and self-contained rigs.
- Overnight RV Parking
A database of 13448 locations in the US to park your RV. Crowdsourced, curated, membership required.
Connecting hosts with extra land to nomadic folks needing a spot. Site is in beta.
- Ultimate Campgrounds
Providing the most comprehensive and most accurate information about public campgrounds of ALL types.
- WWOOF USA
World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. Not designed for RVers, but site has filters for farms with RV parking. Membership required. Work required in exchange for the site.
